GOP’s sloppy new website asks for money while offering no new ideas.
The GOP’s latest embarrassments, Bobby Jindal and Haley Barbour, have a new website, theGOPcomeback.com, to help our great country elect more of their members. Good for them. The one very important thing this website is missing is any reason to elect these people other than their plea for your support.
With all the problems Americans are dealing with these days, it seems pretty self-centered to me that the only message these guys have is that they need to increase their numbers. Watch the video. You’ll see immediately what’s missing from it. Here, in fact, is the only message they have:
The last few years have been challenging for Republicans but despite the odds Republican Governors are leading the way and remain popular. Making sure Republicans control Governorships is the key to developing and implementing pro-growth policies and transforming government.
The comeback begins with our Republican Governors. Help us keep the momentum going by joining the RGA.
Here’s a better idea, guys. Try letting the public know you give a shit for something other than your failed ideas and yourselves. This country doesn’t care about the GOP’s needs. We’ve got needs of our own. And I’d also stop spending the taxpayers money on a sloppy website where your letters don’t even line up. I guess they were in such a rush for your money they couldn’t design and upload this pathetic site quick enough.
And it’s funny how Palin is in your illustration but missing from the video. She’s your shining star, isn’t she? Here’s a thought. Before you begin asking the country for money for yourselves, try finding better ways to use the money your states are given.
Better use of your time? I think so.
